James is an accountancy graduate who qualified with the London office of a national firm but subsequently moved to smaller firms in London and the West Country before moving to lovely Cumbria. He became a Partner in the firm in 2003 becoming Senior Partner in 2015. James heads up the Tax Department and will advise on Tax Planning for all clients. James lives in the Duddon Valley and is a keen fell runner and race organiser for the Duddon Valley Fell races. James is a member of the GSK grant panel
Simon has been at Melville & Co since April 2010; initially as manager, before becoming a partner in the firm in April 2015. After leaving University, he qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant and worked in Suffolk and the South of England before moving to Cumbria. Outside of work Simon likes to spend time on the fells, and to relax by following rugby and cricket.
